Youth held for Net sleaze - accused of morphing photographs and posting them on her Facebook timeline.

TT, Feb 9: A college student was arrested last night on the charge of morphing photographs of another student and posting them on her Facebook timeline.
Officers of the cyber police station in Lalbazar picked up the 20-year-old youth from his hostel in the Dum Dum area.
Police said the youth, originally from Cooch Behar, had been threatening his classmate and her parents that he would upload her pictures on the Internet. He had used multiple SIM cards and created a number of fake Facebook profiles to post the morphed photographs, the police said.
"He had been threatening her through WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger. He posted some pictures on her Facebook timeline... and circulated them among her relatives," additional commissioner Vishal Garg said.
Based on her complaint, the youth was picked up from his hostel and brought to Lalbazar last night. Two SIM cards and a memory card were seized from him. He confessed to his crime after sustained interrogation, the police claimed.
Woman found dead
The decomposed body of a woman was found in her house in the Thakurpukur area this morning. Police identified her as Tapati Dutta, 50. People of the area had alerted them that she hadn't been seen for the past few days.
