
CII's north Bengal chapter gets new heads

, EOI, SILIGURI, 26 Feb 2017:The Confederation of Indian Industry's North Bengal Zonal Council on Saturday held its annual general meeting at Montana Vista where Rajiv Lochan was nominated as the new chairman and Anand Kumar Mittal as the vice chairman for the year 2017-18.
During the Public Session of the AGM, Bagdogra airport director Rakesh R Sahay and Airtel's Bengal and Sikkim head Loveraj Verma spoke on infrastructure and connectivity.
Lochan, the chief executive of Lochan Tea Company, operates his tea business across India including China and Japan, while Mittal is a director of PCM Group which has business projects in 12 countries.
Lochan said the CII will host its first zonal committee meeting on February 28 in Siliguri and in Kalimpong on the first week of March.
