BJP chief slams CID for 'maligning' party's image

On the other hand, more than 100 activists of Jalpaiguri district Trinamul Chhatra Parisad today staged an agitation shouting 'go back' slogans, and waving black flags to the BJP state president Mr Dilip Ghosh in connection with the infant trafficking issue in Jalpaiguri. TMCP staged the protest when Mr Ghosh was coming out of a private lodge after a party meeting at Kamarpara under Kotwali police station limits in Jalpaiguri district.
Foil owing the agitation, Mr Ghosh today desperately announced that BJP workers will gherao every CID office and police stations in the state in protest as these two wings of the state government are continuously conspiring against BJP leaders and workers in the state.
"Trinamul-led CID and police are hatching a conspiracy to malign the image of BJP in the state.
Inclusion of the name of BJP leader Juhi Choudhuri in child trafficking case in Jalpaiguri is nothing but a part of the conspiracy" said state president of BJP Mr Dilip Ghosh said.
"Juhi Choudhuri is not involved in child trafficking. We are investigating the allegations in our party, But what CID and police are doing, as per direction from the ruling Trinamul Congress, is very bad. They will have to be paid by their own coin. Wait just wait..," warned Mr Ghosh,
Mr Ghosh today visited Jalpaiguri to hold a meeting with his party colleagues.He met his partymen in two parts in a private lodge at Kamarpara in Jalpaiguri town. Mr Ghosh wanted to know the whereabouts of the child trafficking case that has damaged BJP's image in the state, from his partymen present in the meeting.
After the meeting Mr Ghosh defended Ms Juhi Choudhuri and slammed the CID and the police.
