Tiger nod for Buxa

TT, Alipurduar, Dec. 1: The National Tiger Conservation Authority under the ministry of environment and forests has approved the reintroduction of tigers in Buxa. At the same time it has approved the tiger conservation plan at the reserve too.
According to a forest official, one adult tiger and two adult tigresses will be brought to Buxa Tiger Reserve. The animals will be brought from either Kaziranga or Orang sanctuary because both these parks and the BTR have the same landscape. In both these parks there is an excess of tigers and often these big cats stray into human habitat.
