College student arrested for cyber stalking
Dwaipayan Ghosh | Nov 2, 2016,KOLKATA: In an indication how cyber stalking has become common place even against minors, the detective department has arrested a second year college student for hacking the Facebook profile of a 15-year-old and then filling it with obscene pictures by changing the password. The cyber crime cell has arrested one Krishna Sekhar alias Kishan (22), a second year student of AJC Bose College and residing at Entally for being involved in this crime. The victim is a student of class 10 and residing in the Tiljala area.
According to joint CP (crime) Vishal Garg, the accused Kishan had first hacked the minor's Facebook profile sometime in early July and changed the password. Unaware of the hack, the girl decided to create another profile after finding that her access was being denied. As soon as the girl opened a new account, the accused began posting obscene pictures on both profiles and tagging them to all friends. The distraught girl and her parents approached police and lodged a case on July 18.
