ASISC selected North Bengal senior debate winners

TT, Siliguri, 21 August 2016: Pratik Zephaniah Subba and Prateek Agarwal of Don Bosco School, Siliguri, the winners of the north Bengal zonal competition in debate at senior level, in Siliguri on Saturday.

Around 100 students of 13 schools in seven districts took part in the competition of the Association of Schools for the Indian School Certificate. The event was organised by the Sacred Heart School, Siliguri, in association with The Telegraph.

The participants had been asked not to come in their uniforms and to keep the identity of their schools hidden till the prize distribution.

The winners would be representing Siliguri to the Regional Level competition which will be held at Kolkata. Subsequently, the winner of the Regional competition will participate in the National Level Finals of the Debate Competition. (Picture by Kundan Yolmo)
