North Bengal girl rescued

Firstpost.com, indianexpress. com and agencies: A tweet to the Railway ministry from a co-passenger saved a girl from human traffickers on Tuesday.
The girl, who was being taken to New Delhi forcibly told one of her co-passengers about her ordeal and the Good Samaritan tweeted to Railway ministry.19-year-old Radha Lohar was allegedly being taken against her will to New Delhi from Hyderabad for work.
The girl alerted a co-passenger about her situation through a written letter in a notebook. In the letter, Lohar wrote that she was a student in 10th standard, an orphan from the district of Alipuduar in West Bengal and that she was with the people against her will and did not want to the work that she was being forced to do. Radha's co-passenger in the train no 12723 informed about the ordeal to her relative Divyansh Khunteta who sent the picture of Lohar's letter and tweeted to the Ministry.
The information was verified and the girl was identified in coach S5 with seat number. The information was passed on to Security Helpline and Ved Prakash, the Director of Information & Publicity, Railway Board, New Delhi. Accordingly the information was passed to M Umashankar Kumar Chief Public Relations Officer of South Central Railway who then alerted Sumati Shandilya, the Senior Divisional Security Commissioner of Secunderabad Division. RPF Personnel swung into action and rushed to the coach on the train’s arrival at Ramagundam station.
Radha with NGO and police personnel
Radha was rescued and sent to an NGO, while two accused persons, who were taking her to New Delhi were arrested. The episode took place in Telangana Express that chugged off Hyderabad at 6.25 am on Tuesday. Radha is a resident of Alipurduar in West Bengal. She worked with a placement agency, KT Enterprises in New Delhi and had come to Hyderabad along with two persons, Kamruddin Ansari and Prem Kanti Tirkey for work.
The duo was taking her back to New Delhi when she revealed her ordeal to Divyansh Khunteta, a co-passenger. According to Tech Time, a spokesperson for the Indian Railway Ministry said that the girl has been taken under the protective custody of Pratham, an NGO. Mr Binay Gazmer (Social Worker) called upon Mr. Prakash, (in the picture), who took the vital role to save the girl and thanked him for the prompt response that saved the girl. Interestingly he got the social linkage with the North Bengal as his wife is from Banarhat in Dooars, North Bengal.
