Cash, jewellery looted from GurungBusti Kali Mandir

EOI, Siliguri 4 Dec 2015 Cash along with gold and silver jewellery amounting to Lakhs were robbed from Kali Mandir situated in Gurung Busty area of Siliguri last night. 
The incident came to light early on Friday morning when the priest reached the famous temple to perform the morning rituals. 
The entire temple complex was found messed up, while gold and silver ornaments clad on the statue of Goddess Kali and the cash inside the donation box were missing. 
Gurung Busty Kali Mandir managing committee called in an emergency meeting in the morning and have filed an FIR at Pradhan Nagar police station. 
Committee members claimed that the temple was robbed many times before but the police have not been able to get any leads into the cases. They urged the police to speed up the investigation and nab the culprits at the earliest.
