Woman killed by husband for not cooking mutton sukka
As per the Dahanu police, the deceased, a resident of Ganjaad in Dahanu, had a verbal dispute with her husband, Babu Dhangda on Sunday evening. After being denied mutton sukka for dinner, Babu threatened his wife with dire consequences, should she fail to comply with his wishes.
A Dahanu police officer said, "After reaching home, Babu enquired about dinner. When she denied cooking the dish, a heated argument ensued between the couple. Babu thrashed her with a bamboo stick and wooden blocks, which led to her death."
