TT, Kalimpong, Nov. 23: A seven-member delegation of the Gorkha Janmukti Morcha led by the president, Bimal Gurung, met Rajiv Pratap Rudy, the Union minister of state for parliamentary affairs, in New Delhi today.
In a press release, the Morcha said the delegation had appealed to the minister to introduce a bill for the creation of Gorkhaland in Parliament. Rudy, who is also the Union minister of state for skill development and entrepreneurship, was requested by the Morcha to set up an “Institute of Capacity Building and Livelihood School for GTA Area”.
