E-learning in Siliguri schools
To name a few, they are GD Goenka Public School, Mahbert High School, Delhi Public School, Techno India Public School and Himalayan International Residential School. Teaching processes in these schools happen through digital instruction material, 3D animated modules and videos, which have not only made the quality of education better, but also given students the power to enhance their performance.
Smart classes in Siliguri are rapidly transforming the way teachers teach and students learn with innovative and meaningful use of technology. Students learn difficult and abstract curriculum concepts by watching highly engaging visuals and animations that make learning an enjoyable experience. Smart classes also enable teachers to instantly assess and evaluate the learning gained by students with an innovative assessment technology called smart assessment system designed by Educomp. All students may not understand the teaching methodology of a teacher, but smart classes can help them understand better, as in the case of movies; i.e., students remember movies better than the lessons taught in classroom.
“I seldom used to pay attention in class because I would find lessons boring and preachy, but now with smart class, I find studies interesting and understand things better due to the visual form of teaching”, said Rashmi Gupta, a 9th grade student of GD Goenka Public School.
“The mode of education has now changed. Computers and laptops have replaced the traditional blackboard. Today, we don’t study hard, we study smart,” said Keeren Prisha Kaur of Mahbert High School.
