Tripathi reposes faith in NIA
EOI, Siliguri, 13 October 2014: West Bengal Governor Keshari Nath Tripathi on Monday touched down at the Bagdogra airport on his way to his maiden visit to the Darjeeling hills. Commenting on the recent Burdwan bomb blast case, he said he had full faith in the National Investigation Agency in unearthing the truth.
At the same time, the Governor noted the incident had left many questions unanswered regarding some madarsas in the region that were operating illegally.
He said such establishments should be exposed along with the beefing up of vigilance along the international border with Bangladesh.
