Nepalese national arrested at Bagdogra airport with ganja worth Rs1 crore
EOI, Siliguri, 20 Oct 2014: A Nepalese national, allegedly involved in drug trafficking, was on Monday arrested with marijuana worth Rs1 crore from the Bagdogra airport.
Avhishek Tamang was arrested during a routine security check when he was about to board the Bangkok-bound Druk Airlines.
Customs officer PT Yolmo said Tamang was arrested for possessing ganja in two black bags while he was about to board the flight for Bangkok.
