Gurung to be GTA chief again
SNS, 22 Nov 2013, Kurseong: The GJMM chief, Mr Bimal Gurung once again indicated that he will again accept the chair of the GTA as its chief.
Notably, addressing a meeting in Kalimpong recently, he had said that he has already advised that the GTA members should work honestly and efficiently for the benefit of the common public and not for themselves.
Expressing that if any doubts arise in any GTA member then he may take the reins in his own hands to take forward all development projects. And today once again he sent across the same message.
Addressing a meeting at Mahanadi in Kurseong, Mr Gurung said that he has sacrificed the chair of the GTA chief for Gorkhaland and the Gorkha community. He also said that even though he has resigned from his post, but without his consent nothing will be done in the GTA.
He might again, for the benefit of the public, he might retrieve back his earlier post of Chief Executive when the time comes.
