EOIC, KURSEONG, 11 Sep 2013The trend of mysterious posters appearing against the Gorkha Janmukti Morcha leadership signed by the ‘Janta’ is still on at various places of the Darjeeling hills.
Kurseong today bore witness to such posters pasted at several vantage places of town warning GJM chief Bimal Gurung.
Bearing the signature of ‘Kurseong Janta’, one of the posters condemned Gurung for lifting the strike, accusing him of being lured by money. Another urged the public to hound the GJM chief out of the hills if a Gorkhaland state is to be achieved.
The Kurseong GJM leadership has accused the TMC and GNLF of being involved in the poster pasting task. The two sides have come together to defame Gurung’s image and dissuade the public from supporting the agitation, claimed GJM leaders.
