Officers transfer .... Khadgabikram Subba and others granted bail

KalimNews, Kalimpong: With a view to tighten the local administration government has transferred a few more administrative officers. 
On 9th August 2013 Puneet Yadav had joined as District Magistrate of Darjeeling by replacing Soumitra Mohan. 
As per the information received the present SDOs of Kalimpong and Kurseong are transferred to other places. 
U Swarup will replace Ranjan kumar Jha, the Kurseong SDO while Radhika Iyer replaces the present SDO Norbu Lakpa Sherpa as Kalimpong SDO. 
Jipa Prayati will replace Rachana Bhakt SDO of Siliguri. It is also informed that Nikhil Nirmal will join as SDO Alipurduar. Similarly some changes in the police administration are also made. Kaushik Kumar Nag, the Darjeeling Sadar SDO will also be transferred after some time and Manoj Chakraborty will join as IC Darjeeling and Malay Majumdar  as IC Kurseong. 

Meanwhile Khadgabikram Subba, president of Kalimpong Committee of Janmukti Karmachari Sangathan an employee's organisation of GJM was today granted bail by the ACJM court Kalimpong. On the same day four youths Mani Tamang, Lalit Chettri, Sudhir Mangrati and Rajiv Subba were also released on bail. Subba was arrested on August 20 while the four were arrested with Binay Tamang on 22 August. They will be released only on 31st after completion of some official procedures in Siliguri.
