Gorkhaland, Bodoland, Vidarbha, Bundelkhand to remain a dream only

PTI,Aug 27, 2013, New Delhi: Government has no plans to create new states like Bodoland, Gorkhaland, Vidarbha or Bundelkhand on the lines of the proposed Telangana state, Lok Sabha was informed today.

"There are no such proposals under consideration of the Government of India at the moment," Minister of State for Home R P N Singh said in written reply.

Following the Centre's decision to carve out Telangana from Andhra Pradesh, proponents Bodoland, Gorkhaland, among others, have intensified their agitation for creation of new states.

This is Government stance//..not the agitators.... agitators demands within the framework of Indian Constitution...Govt' is not above the Constitution...
A suggestion for the editor of the site....pl.pay attention in giving the headings for the news/report. It could be given in other way too...

Editor: This is PTI news, and it is also not its statement. It is a private statutory news agency and we cannot change the headlines nor the wordings-it has published. If it is just adapted we can change them but to tell the readers that the news is authentic we have to publish it as it is transmitted to the subscribers. Whenever we republish any information we must let the readers be confirmed with the information that is published by some reliable source and it is not a hearsay not alike in facebook wall or some other sites done by many without mentioning the source. News site is also not a wall /site of agitator/ activists news letter or private site. It will have to be the site for all the people in general- may be for and against. The news we publish are neither to discourage or encourage anybody, but to enlighten the people/leaders/concerned to it, to let them know that the move of so and so is like this so now prepare to answer it/them. Please try to understand us.
