3 detained for alleged ISI links
SNS, SILIGURI, 22 MAY: Three persons were reportedly detained for their alleged link with the Pakistan-based Inter Services Intelligence from Panighatta area under Kurseong sub-division last night. However, police have not yet confirmed the arrests officially. In course of the investigation, following the arrest of five persons from various parts from the sub-division on the charge of being linked with the espionage racket, police are supposed to have got some vital information that there are several other persons directly or indirectly linked to it. “Accordingly, police detained three persons in this connection last night. Interrogation is on and we would not divulge their identities right now as it would hamper the ongoing probe,” said police sources.
