Hacker arrested
SNS, DARJEELING, 24 APRIL: After conducting a raid by the cyber crime cell branch of CID, one Mahendra Pradhan, alias Meizz Pradhan, was arrested from his home, yesterday, at second mile Sevoke Road, for committing a cyber crime.
The complaint was lodged by a girl on October 2012, whom he tried to malign, hacking her social networking account following a refusal to his proposal.
The girl said that the boy threatened to upload obscene photographs and videos when she refused to accept his proposal. She lodged a complaint at the Ghoom-Jorebunglow police station after finding her account hacked for the filthy purpose said Assistant Public Prosecutor Mr Pankaj Prasad.
