Manoj Bogati receives Youth Sahitya Academy Award
KalimNews, Kalimpong: The second youth literary academy award for Nepali poem was bagged by Manoj Bogati for his collection of poems Ghaau kaa Rangharu (colours of the wound). He was awarded the Yuwa Sahitya Akademi Puraskar- 2012 during a programme organised by the Sahitya Academy held at Srimal Shankardev Kala Shetra Auditorium in Guwahati.
Vishwanath Prasad Tiwari the President of the Sahitya Akademi, gave away a cheque of Rs 50,000/- with memento and angavastra to Bogati along with 23 writers of other languages.
The first award was received by Kamal Regmi another poet. Both the poets belong to Rongo Cinchona Plantation of Jaldhaka region under Gorubathan Block of Kalimpong Subdivision in the Darjeeling District.
Born on 1st June,1979 Bogati has published more than five books on poem and one of his book on poem is also translated into Bengali and Hindi.
