COVID 19 -Daily Status ...2 of Darjeeling and 7 of Kalimpong in Isolation centre- Health bulletin

KalimNews, Kalimpong, 7 April 2020:  As per the current State/ District wise details of Positive cases of Covid 19 issued by the Government of India's Ministry of health and family welfare, 7 persons of Kalimpong district are Covid 19 positive. A source says that include the case of 1 death.
The second test result of the 6 are yet to be formally disclosed.
Bulletin states that there are 69 positive cases in the state of West Bengal with Kolkata having the highest 29 positive cases.
Meanwhile, another departmental health bulletin states that 2 people of Darjeeling are admitted at North Bengal Medical College and Hospital for Covid 19. Sources states that it includes a nurse who tested Covid 19 positive and is recovering. Altogether 61 persons are released from self quarantine of Darjeeling district and there are still 331 persons in self quarantine. Yesterday there were 392 persons in self quarantine.

There are 46 persons of Kalimpong in quarantine centres at Disha Centre and Marwari Bhawan of Kalimpong. 

Altogether 5 persons are released from self quarantine of Kalimpong district and there are still 243 persons in self quarantine. Earlier there were 248 persons in self quarantine. Beside them 6 persons who tested positive are in isolation centre at Dr. Chang's Super specialty Hospital at Siliguri. The 4 immediate family member of the deceased lady who tested negative in the second test are still in quarantine centre at Siliguri.

In the state there are 69 active cases of Covid 19 while 49114 persons are under home observation/ surveillance, and the number of persons who have completed surveillance  is 6010, Till todate 1477 persons are admitted under hospital isolation and a total of 1215 persons are discharged from hospital isolation.

7997 persons are kept in Institutional Quarantine (Cumulative) and 4394 persons are released from Government Quarantine (Cumulative).

So far 262 persons are presently admitted in hospital isolation and 1487 samples are tested for  Covid-19.
