Bimal Gurung, Roshan Giri just want to disturb the peace: Binay Tamang

Amitava Banerjee | MP | 2018-07-08 | Darjeeling: Gorkha Janmukti Morcha President Binay Tamang warned Bimal Gurung and Roshan Giri against fomenting trouble in the Hills through video and audio clips from outside. He challenged the duo to return to the Hills and lead the people if they are truly sincere.
This comes in the wake of Gurung dispatching an audio clip recently asking the Hill political parties to unite and start a movement for Gorkhaland. Incidentally both Gurung and Giri are in hiding.
"People are conscious nowadays. They can no longer be emotionally blackmailed. If Gurung and Giri have the guts, let them come out in the open and lead the Gorkhas. They just want to disturb the peace," stated Tamang. He was addressing a GJM rally on the Monteviot ground in Kurseong on Sunday. Tamang alleged that Gurung had designed many a killing while in power.
"All these cases will be opened," stated Tamang. He even alleged that Gurung had hired killers to assassinate the Present GJM Vice-President Anit Thapa. "We will write to the CBI to reopen the CK Pradhan assassination case as well. The dead leader's family has demanded justice," stated Gurung.
Incidentally CK Pradhan, a GNLF front rung leader was shot dead in broad daylight in Kalimpong in 2002. The CBI had taken up the case.
Tamang further alleged that Gurung had sexually exploited many while in power, "He was a criminal. Now many families are coming out in the open and complaining of their family members being sexually exploited by Gurung. There are three such women, who have complained. We will take legal recourse," stated Tamang.
Tamang stated that Gurung's claims of hiding in the forests were false. "He is leading a lavish life shifting between Kathmandu, Dehradun, Delhi, Gurgaon and Noida," claimed Tamang.
