Madhyamik test papers published

HT, 13 December 2916, KOLKATA: In order to help students cope with a host of changes in Madhyamik 2017, the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education came up with the Madhyamik test papers on Wednesday.
The test papers will reach students in the next seven days through their schools and be free of cost.
With the Madhyamik exam making its debut in its new avatar to help students score more marks like their counterpart in CBSE and ICSE, the test paper of the Madhyamik exam this year will play a very important role in assisting students prepare for the exam.
“We understand that students this year will have to prepare well to cope with the new question pattern. That is the reason why we have come up with the test paper a little early. I would urge the students to follow it seriously or they may fail to score marks,” said education minister Partha Chatterjee.
From 2017 Madhyamik, question papers would have more objective questions carrying one and two marks. The essay-type questions and subjective question will almost be nil.
“For the benefit of students, the test papers will be distributed for free. I urge schools to ensure all its students get it,” Chatterjee said. Doc gets police custody.
