CBI would raid Mamata Banerjee’s residence too, if necessary: Dilip Ghosh

SOUMYA DE SARKAR, EOI, MALDA, 21 Dec 2016: BJP state president Dilip Ghosh threatened a CBI probe at the residence of chief minister Mamata Banerjee. Ghosh was in Malda district party office to attend a district committee meeting around 8 pm.
“I have heard the chief minister has criticized the CBI raid at the house of a top official of Tamil Nadu administration. She is as usually supporting the corrupting officials and political leaders. But Mamata Banerjee should know that there may be CBI probe at her Kalighat residence as well if necessary,” Ghosh said the media personnel.
“We want the floors of the CM’s residence should be excavated to see if the black money is hoarded there. Central government is adamant to continue its drive against the corrupt people,” the BJP state president added.
“Mamata Banerjee was once introduced herself as an icon of honesty. But now except her dresses and slippers everything about her is blackened with corruption,” Ghosh said.
He also said, “I am not going to learn decency from Trinamool leaders. TMC has engaged an imam to pelt stones at me. A minister of state cabinet has threatened to fracture my hands and legs. But the Trinamool leaders should know I am the last man to be scared. If they have the courage, they should get on the streets to compete with us politically.”
The state BJP chief said, “Chief minister Mamata Banerjee, education minister Partha Chatterjee and other ministers are making public announcements from the party office. Actually Trinamool has blended the party and the administration. Trinamool has killed democracy in the state.”
